An opportunity to safely promote your brewery and beers
“We had a fantastic virtual brewery tour last night thanks to the Beer Consultancy. Brett organised everything including the call and ticketing system. All we had to do was to supply the photos, talk about our beers, answer the questions and deliver the beer to those attending. It was a great way to promote the brewery and our beers; we are delighted with how it all went and of course, the additional sales were very welcome!” William Taylor, Head Brewer at Woodcote Brewing
The pandemic has made it challenging to promote your brewery to customers especially as brewery tours and tastings may not be permitted. The good news is that the online world makes it possible to run safe brewery tours and beer tastings for your customer.
With over 40 years of experience in IT and in the beer world, we can manage and run a fantastic, fun virtual tour of your brewery that includes a beer tasting.
How it works
- The date and time for the virtual tour is agreed and you choose which beers (bottles or cans) will go in the “tasting box”
- You send us about 10 photographs of the brewery and images of the beers. We put these into a presentation for the event
- We create the ticketing system for attendees to sign up and order beer from you for the event
- We work with you to promote the tour and tasting to your customers including CAMRA branches
- You receive customer orders for beer from the ticketing system and fulfil these
- We manage the attendees when the event starts, ask you questions about the beers and brewery and ensure that everything goes smoothly
We take care of the tech and ensure that the event runs smoothly, so all you need to do is relax and talk about your brewery
Key Information
- The tour and tasting lasts about an hour
- The typical order of events is introduction, tasting, beer range and then tour
- Attendees use the chat facility to ask questions and we put these to you during the tour
- You would normally email us about 10 photos of the brewery and a photo of each beer
- It is up to attendees how many beers they wish to sample on the night. There is no expectation that it will be more than one
- It is your responsibility to fulfil orders by responding to customers, taking payment and delivering the beer
- You would typically supply a mixed case of 12 beers in bottles or cans
“A great evening enjoyed by all who attended. Brett conducted the evening in a relaxed conversational style that encouraged attendees to freely participate through chat room questions. Set up for the meeting was nice and easy as well, with participants received joining instructions upon registration and beer orders passed direct to the brewery for completion.” Gez Quinn, Chair CAMRA Redditch & Bromsgrove.
