Real ale finally came to Bromsgrove’s Artrix Theatre in February 2018. For the first time since the popular venue opened in 2005, visitors were able to sample cask conditioned beer at a special premiere that was run for the Counterfeit Stones concert. Drinkers enjoyed beers from Warwickshire’s Purity Brewery including Purity Bunny Hop and Pure UBU straight from the cask. Brett Laniosh Beer Consultancy assisted the Artrix in managing the event including recommending the beers, ordering the equipment, getting it all set up and serving thirsty customers. There was a very positive reaction to the two day event which will hopefully be repeated soon and see real ale on sale on a regular basis.
