One of Worcestershire’s biggest beer and cider festivals opened it’s doors on a warm June evening. The event was run by Redditch and Bromsgrove branch of CAMRA. A special trade event was run by beerconsultancy.co.uk on the opening night (Thursday) which was attended by licensees and bar staff, brewers, the media and the former national chairman of CAMRA.

Brett Laniosh from beerconsultancy.co.uk took the attendees through a guided tasting of six specially selected beers and explained how the annual event which attracts 3000 visitors and sells 14,000 pints was organised and run. Colin Valentine the former chairman of CAMRA and Brett answered questions about the festival and beer generally and the event was voted a success by all who attended.
